Position words can be confusing to Kindergarteners, especially those who are new to the English language! I have received one too many “blank stares” from my students after giving directions at the beginning of the year, so I decided to create some colorful and superhero-themed posters to reinforce position words. {This is also a CCSS skill; see K.G.A.1!} In these adorable mini-posters, position words are used to describe the location of a cloud in comparison to a superhero. But as teachers we know, if you give students colorful posters, you’re going to want a (differentiated) mini book to reinforce the skill!
